During the round table Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (ACU) presented a draft concept of improving the system of economic competition's protection in Ukraine.
Alexander Melnichenko, a.d. the President of ACU, commented that the aim of improving the system of economic competition's protection in Ukraine is to create an efficient, socially useful system for the competition's protection and substantiate the specific role of the Antimonopoly Committee in the formulation and implementation of competition government policy.
Mr. Malskyy's topic was announced as "Does Ukraine need a criminal liability for coordinated actions?". During his speech Mr. Malskyy gave comparative characteristics of the criminal liability for cartel agreements in different countries and spoke about the implications of introducing such mechanism in the Ukrainian legislation.

Also the round table was attended by the following representatives of state authorities in Ukraine: the First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada's Committee on Economic Policy Serhiy Osyka, the Head of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oksana Prodan, the Head of the Arbitration Chamber of Ukraine Viktor Samokhvalov, the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine Viktor Moskalenko.
