On February 12, 2010 Mr. Andrey Nikolayenko joined
AstapovLawyers' Kyiv office as an Associate in Intellectual Property Department. Mr. Nikolayenko has a master's degree in law from Kyiv National Economics University, and is also qualified summa cum laude in Intellectual Property from World Intellectual Property Organization Worldwide Academy (WIPO) and State Institute of Intellectual Property of Ukraine. Prior to joining
AstapovLawyers Mr. Nikolayenko was a Legal adviser in leading Ukrainian law firm ‘'Magisters'' for more than three years and worked as a Specialist of the 1-st category in developing legislation organization's department in State Department of Intellectual Property of Ukraine.
In 2008 Mr. Nikolayenko participated in Global Management Challenge Junior project and in Jury Trial Education Initiative (The Leavitt Institute for International Development) program.
Mr. Nikolayenko is a profond expert in all complex of IP issues including trademarks registration, protection of IP rights, unfair rivalry, conveyance of rights, licensing, domain names, copyright, agreements, litigation etc. Moreover, while working in State Department of Intellectual Property of Ukraine he took part in IP legislation and methodology drafting and analysis.
