AstapovLawyers' M&A Team welcomes new Senior Associate

On July 1, 2010 Mr. Volodymyr Yakubovskyy has joined AstapovLawyers as a new Senior Associate at M&A, Corporate and Antitrust Department.

Mr. Yakubovskyy holds a master degree summa cum laude in International Law from Lviv National Ivan Franko University, Ukraine, holds LL.M. degree in International Business Practice from School of Law, Boston University, USA, and LL.M. degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from University of Cambridge, UK. In 2009 Volodymyr was also a participant of the Program on Negotiation and Implementation of legal deals design in Harvard Law School, USA.

Prior to joining AstapovLawyers Mr. Yakubovskyy practiced for several years as an Associate in Corporate and M&A Department of Magisters Law Firm, one of the leading law firms in Ukraine. Volodymyr has a substantial experience in representing leading national market players, foreign and CIS based blue-chips in various corporate and M&A matters including in such industry sectors as: retail, telecommunications, real estate, agriculture, oil&gas, pharmaceutical and insurance/financial institutions.
